Trying something different today at Gulfstream. While watching the Kiwi races last night, I hit a lucky $410 pick three at Del Mar (on a $6 ticket) so my degenerate brain is telling me to find a new way to burn that profit. Playing 4-horse $1 exacta boxes on each race. Also playing $4 Win on the horse in parentheses. So that's $208 invested. Hoping to eke out a profit.

Thanks, Jack, it's 90 degrees here with 80% humidity for a heat index of 105 (at 930am)! Needless to say I'll be home all day playing from the cool A/C of my office. Will be watching your plays - good luck!

I like the plan, Mel. I like that you are telling us exactly how you are playing those four horses. Makes all the difference.

Good luck.

And nice score last night.

North Carolina the state where you can not play the horse legally online. Tourneys yes but pari mutuel NO.

Beautiful state, Jack.

But how does one become a horse player in North Carolina?

Do you ever get to go to any tracks?

used to live up North when I started following the game. But did not really take it serious until I got down here. I am lucky I can play the tourney sites. I have visited Monmouth, Delaware, Meadowlands, Turf Paradise and Keeneland.
